New Stocklister App Unveiled To Improve Parts Stock Management

Dragon2000, providers of Dealer Management Systems, Websites and Mobile Apps, can reveal their brand new Stocklister mobile app, designed to make the stock management process easier than ever for your parts department when checking, creating and receiving stock items.
The Stocklister app is fully integrated with the DragonDMS dealer management system, which means your parts team can speed up the process of adding to their parts inventory, with the ability to create product descriptions, pricing, quantities and locations within the app.
Creating new stock remotely on a mobile device via the app enables you to upload parts into your DMS as soon as they arrive on-site, improving the accuracy and efficiency of your stock management.
The traditional method of using a pen and paper to carry out stock checks can now be digitalised with the Stocklister app, conveniently allowing your staff to access the parts stock listed in the dealer management system from a mobile device and update information in real-time.
Using the Stocklister mobile app with all the stock physically in front of you on the shelves of your parts department is a big time-saver and promotes accuracy, particularly for businesses that carry large amounts of stock. The phone or tablet’s camera can be used to scan each item and/or location barcode to identify the parts immediately, reducing errors that could otherwise appear from handwritten notes and manually adding information to your system later on once back at your desk.
The app is very flexible in that stock checks on specific parts that have been requested via the Stock Checking section within the DragonDMS can also be viewed from the app, as well as perpetual stock checks and stock checks by location.
Stocklister also lets your workshop’s parts department streamline the process of receiving goods in by allowing your parts staff to view outstanding orders and receive the items into stock, either by scanning the barcode or selecting them from the order on-screen. The app’s integration with the DragonDMS means that the new stock quantity will instantly update in your dealer management system, allowing it to immediately be sold over the counter or issued to a service.
If your garage has a website powered by Dragon2000 and you’re taking advantage of the additional ecommerce feature, any changes you make to stock quantities in the Stocklister app will also immediately update on your website, providing online customers with the most accurate quantity levels ahead of their purchase, which could make a difference to the amount they buy.
