Dragon2000 Scores Dealer Management System of the Year Hat-Trick
29th July 2016
The readers of Car Dealer Magazine have been voting in droves recently to name the winners of the prestigious Car Dealer Power motor trade supplier awards, which were handed out at a glittering ceremony at the impressive landmark Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth Harbour on the evening of Thursday 28th July.
Dragon2000 once again took the title of Dealer Management System of the Year, for an incredible third time in as many years, with the motor trade software provider winning the award in 2014, 2015 and now picking up the award for 2016.
Dragon2000 – Named Motor Dealers’ Favourite Three Years Running
The Car Dealer Power awards are voted for anonymously by dealers, and recognise those suppliers of a wide range of motor trade related products that are, in dealers’ opinion, doing the job properly and are the best suppliers to do business with. On the evening, a total of 24 categories of awards were presented during the event.
In the last year, Dragon2000 released the latest dealer management software DragonDMS 2016, and have introduced many new features and services to benefit dealers’ businesses. This includes the free monthly Leader’s Workshops, where dealers’ directors and senior managers are invited to visit Dragon2000 to see key features of the software that their business should be making use of, network with other dealers, and get tips and advice on improving profitability.
One of those recently introduced features which is a must-have tool for dealers is the new APPraise mobile app which fully integrates with DragonDMS, and is free to Dragon2000 customers. The multi-use app for use in both Sales and Service Departments includes tools to carry out appraisals with photos on part exchanges, stock vehicles, courtesy cars and customers’ cars if offering a collection and delivery service, and has the ability to record and send sales presentation videos to prospective customers to help speed up the sales process.
The app also has a comprehensive Vehicle Health Check tool including photos and video to create trust with the customer, advise on safety issues and provide up-selling opportunities, and dealers can even create their own VHC templates to suit their own checking process. Dragon2000 also continue to offer mobile responsive Car Dealer Websites that links live to the car sales software, giving an all-important one point of data entry.
The Car Dealer Power event caused a flurry of activity on Twitter with its own hashtag #CDPower, with Car Dealer Magazine live-tweeting the event and many winners joining in, with congratulations being sent by suppliers and customers alike.
Dragon2000’s Operations Manager, Karen McKenzie said after accepting the award “We are absolutely delighted that our customers have once again voted us Dealer Management System of the Year.
It was an honour last year for us to have won the award twice in a row, but to make it a hat-trick this year and win such a prestigious award three years running really does reflect the continual hard work and efforts of all of our staff, who are committed to providing customer support that is second to none, and developing new innovative features that benefit dealers’ businesses.
We are all incredibly proud to have our efforts recognised by our customers in this way, it is a fantastic achievement for all of our staff and we will continue to focus all our energy on being the best in the business.”
