Dragon2000 Customer to Sponsor Scottish Premiership Side
8th July 2016
With the UK well and truly gripped by football fever in the midst of this summer’s European Championships, DragonDMS and website customer Alan Storrar Cars has joined the party by announcing that they are to become the shirt sponsor for Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone FC from the beginning of next season.
A long-time partner of the 2014 Scottish Cup Winners, Alan Storrar Cars have been using our Dealer Management System since 2005, while they have also recently started to benefit from seamless live integration thanks to their new Dragon2000 built website which has been live since May.
Throughout their time with Dragon2000, Alan Storrar Cars have been regular partners with the side known as The Saints, with them being a regular advertising presence at both their McDiarmid Park ground and on their official club website.
On their decision to take their partnership with their Perth neighbours one step further, company owner Alan Storrar said: “This is both a heart and head decision.
“We are a local company and have been involved with Saints for the last 10 years and we felt the timing was right for both us and the club to become the shirt sponsor.”
An original 12 month deal – with an option for a further year, Alan Storrar Cars will be hoping their backing will help the Scottish Premiership side build on last season’s strong campaign, where they only narrowly missed out on European football after their 4th placed finish.
Naturally, club chairman Steve Brown was thrilled to have secured such a long-standing local partner as next season’s shirt sponsor.
On the announcement, he said: We are delighted to have a reputable local company who employ a lot of people in the area on board.
“Alan is a St Johnstone supporter who has followed us to games home and away, including our European adventures.
“I’m sure Alan will maximise the opportunities which go hand in hand with the sponsorship.”
As part of the deal, Alan Storrar Cars will supply club cars, including one for manager and former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Tommy Wright.
