Who are Dragon2000?
Formed in 1995 and based near Silverstone, England - the home of the British F1 Grand Prix - our background is motor trade through and through.
Unlike most of our competitors, we have real experience of running dealerships at the highest level which gives us a unique insight into the demands of this ever-changing business.
We were the first to have a Windows based system, the first to use digital photographs and the first to offer SMS text messaging from within our systems. Sure, many systems now offer similar features but you can be sure that when it comes to new developments, we are always one of the first to offer it to our customers - not because we are computer boffins, but because we know how this helps to improve your business.
Consequently, we have now supplied over 4100 users - making us the most popular in the UK. Dragon2000 is in use at most franchises in the UK, at car supermarkets, used car specialists and independent workshops.
Part of our philosophy has been that our systems should represent good value for money. We are not the cheapest and we do not "deal" just to get market share - we let the motor manufacturers do that! What we do have is a transparent pricing structure that allows small dealers to use our systems for very little investment and larger ones to save considerable amounts over our competitors. All our upgrades are included free of charge to those on support and our support charges are as little as £29.50 per month, allowing dealers to budget in the knowledge that we don't have any hidden surprises.
Our systems are linked to Sage Line 50 for the production of financial accounts. Sage Line 50 is a generic accounting system and, as many have discovered, does not suit the motor trade "out of the box"! We have spent a huge amount of time ensuring that it actually works the way that your business does - something that is truly impossible if you don't understand the motor trade in the first place....
Many of our customers have remained loyal since our humble beginnings and many are considered friends. We'd like to think that we offer a product that is reliable and easy to use but, above all else, we offer support that is second to none.
We have no "automated" telephone systems - call the number and we pick up the phone. Our staff turnover is very low, resulting in long term product knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the job that our software is expected to do. We also know that your requirements change and that our systems need to evolve alongside your business.
