What Did Our Guest Speakers Present At The Dealer Conference?

Dragon2000’s Dealer Conference offered a number of our partners the opportunity to get on stage and speak directly to DragonDMS dealer management system users about how their features can be integrated into the DMS to save even more time for their car dealership or garage.

Here’s an overview of what our guest speakers, Auto Trader, Clover, MotorCheck and iVendi discussed:

Auto Trader

Auto Trader were the first of our partners to present to the car dealers and garages in attendance. The evolution of Dragon2000’s partnership with Auto Trader was first on the agenda, covering how what started as a simple feed integration has developed into real-time stock updates and valuations in our DragonDMS dealer management system.

Maximising your profit for each vehicle sale using Auto Trader’s price indicator was discussed, as we looked at the tolerance of each pricing label and how this data will soon be fed into the DragonDMS to ensure car dealers can advertise vehicles for the highest amount while remaining at their preferred pricing indicator.

Next, we saw how frequently car dealers have logged into Auto Trader’s dealer portal, updated a vehicle’s price and performed price checks over the last year, which are all tasks that can be performed in Dragon2000’s software to save some dealers as much as 20% of their time.

An overview of Co-Driver, Auto Trader’s AI, was presented to the audience, offering smart image management, AI-generated descriptions, and vehicle highlights, along with the new Deals feed that provides car dealers with even more information about their customers, the vehicles they’re interested in, and which services they may want to utilise, such as part exchanging, reserving, finance, and arranging collection or delivery.

 

Clover

Clover were next to present, as they talked about their payment solutions that are integrated with the DragonDMS dealer management system, allowing car dealers and garages to take faster payments in person through their card terminals and send secure payment links for customers to conveniently pay their bills from their internet browser, with any successful transactions recorded in the DMS.

In the showroom, the payments due on Clover’s card terminals are automatically populated by the amount shown in the customer’s record within the DragonDMS, so there is no requirement for staff to manually enter the amount on the terminal each time and risk making costly errors.

Car dealers and garages with a website powered by Dragon2000 can also take advantage of the Clover integration by allowing secure payments to be taken 24/7 online, making it ideal for interested car buyers who wish to reserve their desired vehicle outside of business hours or secure a service appointment.

 

MotorCheck

Our third guest speaker was MotorCheck, whose provenance checks are integrated with the DragonDMS dealer management system, allowing car dealers and garages to easily carry out checks from within a vehicle record, with certificates stored for easy access if required at a later date.

MotorCheck highlighted the quality of their vehicle history checks being essential for car dealers, as they are exclusive providers of ex-salvage, ex-taxi, service history, and previous advert checks. They are also exclusive providers of EV and PHEV battery certification, ensuring dealers can clearly see the health of their electric vehicles.

The new WhatsApp integration from MotorCheck was then presented to the attendees, showing how simply entering a vehicle registration and mileage into the messaging app will instantly generate a car history report, which can be opened in the dealer’s internet browser with all of the details.

 

iVendi

The final presentation from our guest speakers was from iVendi, who generate finance quotes on Dragon2000 car dealer websites so that online buyers can check their affordability and begin the sales process even when your dealership is closed.

iVendi presented their new Finance Navigator tool that is coming soon, allowing car dealers using their product to quickly discover which finance lender is best suited to a customer, with the chances of approval attached to each quote. The new tool can even receive pre-approved offers so that dealers can guarantee how much finance a customer will pay within moments of declaring their interest in a vehicle.

Ivendi Guest Speaker

The Digital Deal Builder tool from iVendi was also showcased, which lets dealers enter value-added products into their deals so they can be presented to the customer in the showroom as a monthly payment option, offering sales staff the opportunity to increase the money you’re making from each sale.
