August’s Leaders Workshop

Dragon2000 continued their free monthly Leaders Workshops this week by welcoming various business owners, directors and managers to August’s presentation of our ever-popular event.
Hosted once a month at our offices, our free Leaders Workshops are attended by key personnel who are keen to improve the way their business utilise our software on a day-to-day basis.
Designed to help bring the key features and processes behind both the Service & Sales module within DragonDMS to their attention, our workshop also covers our Car Dealer Websites and our free mobile app, Dragon APPraise, and how these could both benefit our existing customers with the one point of data entry made possible by our fully integrated software.
For some, such as Nigel Stephens, Director at Oakwoods Group, the day was a real eye-opener in terms of the true capabilities of our Dealer Management System.
On their current use of the system, he said: “At the moment we’re only using about 8% of its true potential, so there’s about 92% of it that we’re not using, and a lot of that is applicable to our business.”
As with so many of our business leaders, when they are introduced to the true capabilities of our software, they are genuinely enthused to keep improving their processes and have their staff benefit from the same training that they have received.
Nigel, head of the Used Car Specialists based in Kent, was no different, saying: “We’re looking to take the next step really now.
“As well as getting a website from you, we want to put our staff through training so they can learn how to utilise the data properly, and therefore market our business like we should be doing.”
The idea of further development was a common theme across the day, with Steve Wood, Managing Director of Roy Wood Transits, keen for him and his staff to benefit from further training.
On their future plans, he said: “It was good to get a much better perspective of the system, one that was full of tips and useful information.
“Overall, the day was very worthwhile, we would definitely be very interested in training for our staff that focused on specific areas, such as the CRM module.”
Steve, who had made the trip from his Berkshire-based dealership, is one of many of our customers who have started to utilise our free app, Dragon APPraise; realising the power of personalised sales videos after he bought a car himself on the back of receiving such a video.
On how he sees Dragon APPraise fitting in to his business, he said: “We’ve just started using it, but it’s something we are continually looking to progress and adopt.
“We believe it is something that fits in very well with the vehicles we sell. A lot of our customers view it as something necessary nowadays.
One thing we consistently hear from our customers is how much they appreciate our support team, who are only a phone call away should you need help with any of our software.
Jason Mawdsley, Managing Director of Tottington Motor Company, was one customer who was pleased to finally meet the members of our experienced and friendly team.
Jason, whose dealership utilises both our Car Dealer Websites and Dealer Management System, said: “It was great to meet all of the support team and put names to faces, this will really help to further cement the ongoing customer/supplier relationship.
“In general, I found the Leaders Workshop to be most informative and I took away lots of little nuggets that will really help to ensure that we get the best out of the software.”
Nigel from Oakwoods Group echoed the comments of Jason by summing up his experience of our Support Team.
He said: “Support has always been really good. I’ve never had any issues, they have always been very prompt, and always have the answer.
“I would certainly recommend Dragon2000 to anyone.”
