New GID Data Feed Launched to Help Increase Dealer GAP Revenue

Car dealers using Dragon2000’s Dealer Management System, DragonDMS, are now able to generate additional GAP insurance revenue without any cost, effort or FCA risk to themselves as an automated data feed with GAP insurance distributor, General Insurance Distribution (GID) has been launched this week.
GID works closely with MAFPRE to promote MAPFRE GAP insurance for dealers that have already stopped, or don’t want to continue selling GAP insurance, with the GID team handling the insurance sales process themselves after the vehicle sale.
Currently GID are working alongside the likes of Renault, Moneyway, Southern Finance, RRG, as well as many more. Dealers who partner with GID will benefit from their vehicles that have been sold on finance being automatically fed from DragonDMS through to GID, so that their team can carry out the task of offering their customers appropriate GAP insurance cover.
All calls are made in GID’s name, under their FCA permissions and at their own cost – dealers are simply paid a non debitable commission for every policy that is sold, leaving them free to focus their efforts on selling their stock.
This allows dealers to generate additional revenue whilst also ensuring that their customers are offered an important level of protection on their purchase, which they would have perhaps not been offered otherwise.
Dealers using DragonDMS who are existing partners of GID can contact the support team to enable the data feed, which is free of charge to users.
