Selling price same as SIV???

If anyone could advise me as I'm selling a car on behalf of a very good friend and one good turn etc etc
I'm selling her car and obviously don't want to have to pay VAT, If I enter the purchase price as £9000 and retail as £9000 obviously I'm not making anything so should I be ok. There are no costs as its still under Manufactures Warranty.
Thanks

If the selling price is exactly the same (or less) as the buying price you will have no Margin VAT to pay. Of course, if you incurred any costs to advertise/prep the car, you would not be able to recoup these charges within the selling price without incurring Margin VAT.
As you said, Buy and Sell for £9000 and there is not VAT incurred.

Matthew
